FIAT Bypass

Emergency start device for Fiat Group cars. Plug it into the OBD2 socket and start the car.

FIAT Bypass is an emergency start device from CarLabImmo for lost key situations. The device recognises the ECU and the car by itself. It supports Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep and Iveco, plus Citroën, Peugeot and Ford in Europe, and Fiat and Ram in South America.

How to use

Step 1

Plug it in

Insert the device into the OBD2 socket. The LED starts blinking fast. In some models produced from 2017, use the SGW Adapter.

Step 2

Ignition ON

Turn the ignition ON. The LED starts blinking slowly.

Step 3

Start the car

Start the car. No programming is needed.

ℹ️ If the LED keeps blinking fast after you turn the ignition ON, take the key out, wait 30 seconds and turn the ignition ON again. Sometimes the procedure needs to be repeated.

Requirements

Car

  • The car has to be equipped with a mechanical key.
  • The car has to be equipped with original parts. The device works only in case of a lost key.

SGW Module

  • Some models from 2017 are equipped with an SGW (Security Gateway) Module.
  • In these cars use the SGW Adapter to bypass the Security Gateway Module.
